How to delete an email account when it does not highlight the "remove account" button

My email account had been hacked so I changed the password. Now that the password is changed my Microsoft app wont show any messages in my email. Ive had to go online to access my email and I liked it in the mail app. Anyone know how

to update my password or delete and reload this account? also, wondering if the touch pad allows a scrolling option on the side??
