Administrators AWS Posted February 15, 2013 Administrators Posted February 15, 2013 Hello, On my new PC: HP Pavilion p6-2310 supplied with Win 8 64 bits, I added 3 partitions. So I had the following partitions: (from left to right) 1 Go Not allocated 360 Mo (System EFI) Win8 (C:) with Win 8 installed Win7 (G:) XP (H:) Data (J:) Recovery (D:) After I launch the install of Win 7 on the partition next to Win 8, the system rebooted and I got a black screen with the test: (translation from French) : =========================================== Windows boot manager A recent change to the hardware or to the software could have installed an incorrectly signed file or a damaged one… To pursue you enquiry, press Enter. File: $windows.~BTWindowssystem32Winload.efi Status: 0xc0000428 The digital sign of this file could not be checked. ============================================ I got also a very fleeting message which said approximately: "Your partitions are not in a good order" I fact, after the trial (and failure) of installation Win 7, my partitions are in the following order: 1 Go Not allocated 360 Mo (System EFI) Win8 (C:) with Win 8 installed Data (I:) Win7(H:) XP (G:) Recovery (D) So the "Data" partition moved between Win8 and Win7. I don't want to pursue any enquery, I just want to install Win7 on a partition beside Win8. What is wrong? Thanks for your help View the full article Quote
