Virtual Phone Software - Any suggestions

I have tried using my old &quotClassic PhoneTools9&quot software on my new Windows 8 pc and the &quotPhone&quot option is not installing/displaying. The Fax and other options are there (tested the FAX and it worked). I've searched the WEB

for a free (or purchased) software that would enable me to connect to my Comcast phone service and have it a brick wall.

Any suggestions????
