SxS Manifest problem

Hi

I've got a strange which I assume to be a a file virtualiseation problem

I have an EXE and manifest file along with all of the OCX components in a folder on the D drive

When I try and run it I get COM errors and other problems suggesting it cannont see the manifest file.

 

If I RENAME the exe and manifest file then they both run absolutly fine

Suggesting there is some sort of file vitualisation going on somewhere

I've looked in C:UsersMyUserAppDataLocalVirtualStore and can't see the file in there

Any other clues as to why renaming the pair of files seems to cure it ?
