After installing W11 24H2 (clean install on new SSD) on Asus ROG Strix GL703, certain function keys no longer work. F5 fan control, fn+v gaming mode are no longer working. All worked prior to 24H2 install. Clean install so cannot rollback. Any help greatly appreciated.View the full article

My Lenovo Ideapad 3 running on Windows 11 runs into the issue that when the trackpad is used, the cursor lags behind a fraction of a second. Hello, I am desperate in trying to find a solution without spending money to get an in person diagnosis from MicroCenter, I have been having BSOD of different names for about a month and have tried almost every bit of troubleshooting possible. Updated drivers, tried new RAM, started safe mode, disabled some programs thought to have been causing, and nothing works. I have a pc i built myself and ran good for 3 years and I clean and replace thermal paste regularly. A week ago I have taken apart my pc to clean my cpu cooler,case fans and gpu fans. I have been running a dual boot system Win10 / Win11 for a while now (originally Win10, then dual boot to Win11 created on a new partition). I no longer use the Win10 partition enough to justify it. Information online was to use Disk Manager to delete the Win10 partition then extend the Win11 volume to use the unallocated space. I usually use energy saving when using battery and I get that it would decrease its performance, I know as well that using the laptop plugged in would perform better, but I'm curious why the energy saving mode is also available when it's plugged in. About two weeks ago I unpacked my new desktop. This new computer was required in order to run Windows 11. After downloading all the Windows 11 and EDGE updates I plugged in my 5.1 speaker system. First, I made all the necessary changes to both the Realtek Audio Console window and the Windows 11 System > Sound > More Sound Settings windows. Including Speaker Properties and Setup to reflect my 5.1 audio setup. Hello! Stupidly I ran a fake captcha resulting in LummaStealer being installed. Microsoft Defender however says it has blocked the threat. Saying it is now quarantined and will be deleted automatically. Does this mean I just got really lucky? Or do I need to take additional steps to make sure everything is safe? I have 3 PCs (All ASUS/AMD Based High End Builds) and and I have custom photos I use for the slideshow option on my desktop, The photos are all black backgrounds and then I use the black desktop color as the base. I have been doing this for YEARS with no issue, Even in Windows 11 UNTIL.... a recent update to the latest win 11 version. Recently, some of my contacts in phone link are NOT showing up except by phone number. Most of my phone only contacts are only maintained in Google, but they used to show.
