While on the sample laptop I can set a refresh rate of 120 Hz for my screen using Ubuntu Noble I can only do 60Hz on Windows 11.I have two video cards, and I installed the latest driver for both.- Intel UHD Iris Xe- Nvidia RTX A4000 Laptop GPUI tried from:- NVIDIA Control Panel (no such option)- Intel Graphics Command Center (no such option)- System > Display > Advanced display (the option is there but 60 Hz is the only option)I also made sure all latest drivers and OS updates are installed.Any ideas?View the full article

I have a Dell Inspiron 15 3000 3583. It came with a 128 GB M.2 drive to run the system, I upgraded to a 1TB M.2 and a 1TB 2.5" SSD drive. I tried to use Marcum Reflect and Diskgenius to copy the system. I tried on a thumb drive first. It copied but wouldn't boot correctly. I ended up putting the original M.2 in and put the new 2.5" ssd drive and copied everything over to the 2.5" ssd. Then took out the M.2 and put the new one in. I am trying to play games with my ps5 controller however when i connect the controller to my pc with a wire it keeps connecting as an audio device and doesn't let me use the controller in games. The device previously worked fine but now it wont let me play any games with it. The only thing that has changed since the last time i used the controller was I plugged in a new webcam. I've been getting the blue screen of death when booting up my PC over the last two weeks. It does not occur each time I turn on the PC, there has been a 40-50% chance of getting a blue screen. So for work we have a folder with a lot of documents and I always was able to access it in my file explorer and upload from the file explorer.But now when I try to open the folder it just takes me to the web, I can access it like this but it is so much more convenient to be able to access it all in the file explorer. I am running windows 11 24H2 I was aware that this update having bugs. In my FAT32 partition Windows 11 indicates a full repair needed is this a bug ? Windows 11 is running normally and disk management indicates partition is healthy. I am not having any errors Copilot indicated a solution which I tried but unfortunately the bcdboot command failed to recreate the boot file in the partition. Another long time problem I've had with Win 11. Ever since I purchased a new notebook with Win 11 I have, as on any of my computers, set up my two languages (Australian English and Czech) and for each a single keyboard. For a totally unknown reason and randomly, Windows add a UK English keyboard layout to the list which DOES NOT appear in the list of added keyboards in Settings so I can't even remove it. It started a few weeks ago, I was playing FC3 and just like that the computer shuts down. The computer is on but does not give response to anything. I think its in sleep mode. Because of this behavior I stoped playing. Now when I have tried with GTAO Enhanced instead, it does the same thing.
