I'm not receiving any security codes no matter what I do, every time I want to sign in it would ask for me to verify my identity and ask for me to type in a secondary email to verify my identity with. So I would do that and it says it will send that email verification code but it never does. I have no other methods of signing in so I'm stuck. Dell XP 8940 took the most recent Win 11 update and now the 5gig wireless device in the KIller device posts the error noted in the subject. The 2.4gig works so I have a woreking system but it is so slow. I have installed the Killer (intell) drivers, the dell drivers, updated the bios on the dell, uninstalled and reinstalled the device and I am always greeted with the same error message. This started after taking 2024-12 KB5048685, I am now at 2025-02 KB5051987. I do not have a restore point back to prior the install of 2024-12. Has anyone solved this before? How was this resolved? I recently replaced the battery on my Dell/Win11 laptop. Ever since, most of the time (not always) when I either reboot the computer or awaken it from sleep mode, I get prompted to enter my BitLocker recovery code. Entering my code is more of an annoyance than a problem - I'm used to just opening the laptop and instantly logging in. What causes this? Is there anything I can do to remedy the situation? Can the BitLocker feature be turned off? Would that be advisable from a security standpoint?View the full article

I build my first pc 3 days ago, and ive been using it for gaming on my dualsense controller (PS5 controller). It was working fine until today, when I tried to connect it, it connected, but then turned off. I tried again, this time it turned on and stayed on, said the computer was connected to it, but when i tried to play a game, the controller just didnt work. Everytime I get an update my bluetooth disappears until I restart my computer. It's consistently every time and I never had this issue with my previous computer. It does not even show up on the Device manager or under settings. Bluetooth is simply gone until I restart. Any suggestions?View the full article

Hello, I just bought a new asus laptop.Recently I noticed that when I slide from the right corner of the tochpad down the center an app claeed screen xpert opened. I unistalled the app and now when I slide the touchpad it takes me to microsoft store on the screen expert page. Hello,I'm trying to run Remote Desktop to access a company server. I am able to successfully open and run the VPN through OpenVPN Connect but whenever I get to log in in Remote Desktop into the server instance, I am automatically given a complete black screen with the message Access is Denied and an OK button that kicks me off the server instance. This is very strange because for the last month, I was able to log on to Remote Desktop server and work on the server with no problem. I don't think it's a VPN issue since the VPN is always able to run. How do I get rid of this Access is Denied blackView the full article

Okay I have a problem. So I had to factory reset my computer and reinstall windows. When the installation progress was 54%, my power shut down and so did the computer. Now when I turn the PC on, it just turns on and off and I cant do anything. I am turning on the PC, it shows me the Lenovo logo, shut off screen, then says Lenovo "welcome" loading screen, then shows the windows installation progress at 64% for 1 millisecond and just shuts off, and it does it over and over and over again.My model is: Lenovo Leigon T5 26IR88View the full article

Hello, I have bought a new acer laptop, yesterday when setting it up command prompt would quickly come on and go but i didn't think anything of it as i ran ESET one time scanner and nothing was found. However today i decided to run Malwarebytes adwcleaner and it found adware.pokki. I have recently forgotten the PIN for my laptop, which is usually no big deal as I have a fingerprint scanner. I attempted to use the scanner only to be told I MUST use the pin. Then, when I try to reset the PIN, the code does not get sent to any email of mine. Other microsoft codes work fine and get sent to the correct email, but the code to reset the PIN never goes through. This is incredibly irritating and Microsoft has essentially kicked me out from using my own device. Immediate attention is required and the fact that your helplines are all utterly useless doesnt help things. Awful look. View the full article
