I'm trying to reset my PC, but it tells me there is no recovery environment, so I tried to make a recovery drive but it tells me I'm missing required files and to use my windows installation media. I can't access the original thumb drive I downloaded Windows 11 off of as I got it from a friend, but when I try to download it on my own thumb drive it gets stuck saying "updates are installing" or something like that at 46%. Hello. I have been having difficulties opening apps from the dock since mid-February. Most apps won't launch and all I get is an Explorer.exe pop-up saying, "Class not registered". I also cannot turn Bluetooth on or off from the dock, as well as check my notifications. I cannot access Microsoft Store either. In all, the dock is completely unresponsive. I cannot open the Settings app either, and I have tried many things to fix these problems. The only apps I can access are my digital painting apps, Bing, and File Explorer. I got a new computer 2 weeks ago, and I have been trying to pair my phone ever since. I have phone link connected, running smoothly but my phone will not pair directly with the computer. However, my friends Samsung S24 pair, connected...stayed connected on the first attempt. Whenever I have my microphone access enabled, my Bluetooth headset will disconnect every 1-3 minutes. I am trying to partition my SSD in hopes of dualbooting linux. I have all the critical files, and the OS itself on my C:\, so I was surprised when I could only shrink my D:\ down by 10GB. Hello. I have running Windows 11 Pro with a Windows 10 Pro virtual machine. I just purchased an ASUS USB 3.0 Blu Ray burner. This works as expected in the host OS, Windows 11. In the Windows 10 virtual machine, it shows as only a DVD drive. In the RDP settings, it says DVD. In Hyper-V settings, I do not see where to specify that it is a Blu Ray drive/burner.How may I get this device to work correctly in my VM? ThanksView the full article

My laptop came with Windows 11 installed on a 1TB drive and an empty slot for a second drive. I installed a Samsung 2TB in that second slot. Went through Disk Management and initialized that drive, assigned name and drive letter no issue. About 2 weeks later I decided I want to go with a Samsung 4TB in that second slot to future proof my laptop. I never even transferred one file to the new 2TB SSD drive.I pulled the 2TB drive out and stuck in a 4TB drive. No issues booting up, writing this message on the laptop. Hello, On my last update my admin login was removed and my current login had the admin rights removed. I do know that my computer has a company attached to it as i used it for work last year and now I can not remove them as I need admin rights. Hi all, I've been getting DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION errors a lot recently since I've just upgraded my PC. It seems to happen when I'm running very GPU-intensive games with mods installed most of the time. Up until 2 days ago, I was able to preview all my svgs, psds, ais, and almost everything as thumbnails without PowerToys. I ran out of diskspace and it told me to clear the thumbnails. I thought for sure they'd magically return. But nope, here we are. I am destroyed.
