forums, just in case you didn't know. Anyway, helping others is what I
often do. Just not in the common way of doing things. Instead I'm
opening the eyes of those willing to learn and make them start
thinking for themselves. Those who are ignorant to learn is waste of
time anyway.

Words in a newsgroup shouldn't be able to hurt. Only when people with
low self esteem *decide* to be hurt or insulted can this occur. Very
similar to people choosing to be conveniently "insulted" by some
cartoons.

newsgroup-specific (e.g., security) discussions. They are not "chat rooms."

I went to the very link posted by Robear Dyer here in this thread and
somehow thought that those rules DID apply to these groups.

Please post the link to where the 'Code of Conduct' for *these* newsgroups
are to be found. I cannot find /any/ other 'rules'.

If it helps, at the current time I am using OE6 to read these messages -
via:- msnews.microsoft.com
