It looks like Alias has had more than his fair share
of abuse as a child already.
Best just let him rant himself to sleep.

If you'll ask Google, "Why are there killfiles?" the answer will
probably be "Alias".

Not me. Whether others may agree with Alias or not, more violence is
not the answer.

I don't think this is appropriate for
microsoft.public.windows.vista.general.

Apart from being off topic, this is an international forum. Many folks here
are not American.

Well, be that as it may, we only have one birthday a year so I thought
I'd wish all who care, a Happy 4th of July American Birthday!

But you're correct in your statement. This is not the proper forum for
anything other than Vista related discussions.
Too bad our linux friends have no respect for this forum, but then
again, they're only using a toy os...so what could any expect from
them...adult behavior? :)

Posts such as this show up occasionally for Americans and others.
Many responded agreeing with the original post and I for one will not
assume all are Americans.
Similar to wishing someone happy birthday, you do not need to be that
person to do it.

As for off topic, probably but it was good until some tried to derail
by inserting their political opinions.

perhaps not, but neither is a lot of what passes for appropriateness here )
Feel welcome to come by and wish your particular country a hapy birthday
when it rolls around.

and many many more are ... Happy birthday America.
It is independence day here, a holiday, people are off work and having a
good time.
Allow them that? :)

I don't mind reading replies/discussions, but he's been in there for quite
some now, along with others. I let Frank out of the box now and then,
because I understand him, sort of, but he ends up being returned. I just
wish fewer people quote the entire rant every time. Oh, well. <g>
