What's so funny about it... really? As has been well documented and
talked about ad nauseam, a Macbook Pro ran Vista faster than any other
laptop PCWorld tested.
http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,136649-page,3-c,notebooks/article.html

So, maybe the Mac in the pic was running Vista. Got any proof that it
wasn't?

It's not like it's Steve Jobs using a PC running Vista at a
conference... now THAT woud be funny.

None at all, but funny none the less.

But lets say it is a Mac running Vista, and runs it faster. Does that
mean Microsoft developers of Vista bought Macs during Vista coding? Not
good either, because they probably dual boot and didn't run Vista
themselves off hours.

I somehow don't think he would hake that mistake unless to show the
audience some Vista short comings.

I doubt it. If some Alienware machine is now the fastest, would you assume
that "Microsoft developers of Vista" bought Alienware machines during Vista
coding? Why would you assume any such thing?

They would use whatever is the standard MS developer's machine. They don't
just go buy whatever is the fastest machine that month, each month! "The
fastest machine" changes constantly.

I doubt if Vista developers used any kind of laptop for their
development work. Even a mediocre desktop would be faster than a
blazing Macbook Pro, and my guess is that MS supplies their OS
developers with a tad more than "mediocre" desktops. -)
