In keeping with this commitment, today we are announcing new steps to prevent discrimination and harassment, following a 2021 proposal that was approved by Microsoft’s shareholders. Based on this proposal, Microsoft’s Board of Directors engaged the law firm of ArentFox Schiff LLP to conduct an independent review of the company’s sexual harassment and gender discrimination policies and practices.
