First, the arbitrary Intel CPU is 8th generation/ Now, Microsoft has cut off 8th, 9th and 10th generation Intel CPUs. Hello,my Windows 10 (22H2) regularly attempts to upgrade to Windows 11. After several restarts, Windows 11 initially boots into a blue screen. Unfortunately, I cannot read the error message because the display is very distorted at that point. The system automatically restarts and rolls back to Windows 10. I VERTICAL crop the image I am working with to a specific size (for magazine cover). I open the image; right click on "set to desktop background". Image appears as my background but image is distorted...... not specific size I have set. Horizontal images are fine. Vertical images are distorted. My computer died but computer place said the data is still there and removed the ssd nvme for me. I do not have a backup of files I need. I purchased a new computer and want to transfer some files from old drive to new computer. I have ordered an enclosure to transfer. Like the title states, I am having a problem with characters becoming squares/missing in several programs. Everything works fine after a reboot, but overtime more and more applications affected (or more affected - sometimes it is just, say the menu in excel but the tabs are fine, other times it is just the tabs and summary, sometimes all three.
