After an automatic Windows update I couldn't login to my laptop/Windows account because Windows thought my password was invalid. I tried all the Windows help procedures but they didn't help at all!To check if my password was correct I logged successfully into my Microsoft account in the Internet (using an android device). I changed the password hoping that this would synchronise the Windows password but unfortunately it didn't work. Hello, I was wondering. I'm using touchpad gestures quite frequently. I set my 4 finger gestures for volume control but I don't use the 3 finger at all, because there is an easier way to change windows or apps for me. I already have my fingers at or close to Alt+Tab, so changing my wrist location to use the 3 finger gesture to change windows would be much more time consuming and it just doesn't make sense to me to use it this way. My keyboard will randomly stop working whenever I press the arrow key too many times or for too long. I can temporarily solve this issue by restarting my laptop, so I know there's nothing physically wrong with it. However, this issue has been repeating itself for months. I use the arrow keys often, and having to shut down and restart my laptop every time I want to do something is counterproductive. I am developing a Windows 11-based simulation app that creates multiple (sometimes many) background processes all running the same .exe. Startup time can be excessive because the CPU is overwhelmed by Defender Antivirus repeatedly scanning the same (known good) .exe over and over and over...I've tried the suggestions previously posted on this forum and have worked through copilot suggestions to exclude the .exe with no success. I have a WINDOWS 11 PRO machine, which I can login to using either of 2 accounts - for both I use a PINI'd like to be able to login via a REMOTE DESKTOP connection occasionally - the whole reason I upgraded to PRO actually! I have two SSDs on my desktop pc. I have the smallest one dedicated to OS and related apps. Checking the actual files and apps installed in this disk, data shouldn't be taking more than 70gb and even worse when checking directly on storage setting, as it barely breaks 50gb. Hello,I had previous issues, which ultimately resulted in reinstalling Windows. But the problem remains. After loading windows there's a bsod with 0x0000003b and the result is a restart of the laptop. At the restart it wont recognize the boot drive from the top. I have to power off a couple of times until it start normaly.Can it be a problem with the boot drive? I have a dell inspiron 15 3000 series laptop. it only had 120 gb m.2 hard drive. I upgraded to a 2.5" ssd 1tb and upgraded the m.2 to a 1tb. I tried macrium reflect in a thumb drive. it didn't want to reboot properly. I put the old m.2 120 gb drive back in. Transferred the system to the 2.5" ssd using diskgenius. Then I took out the m.2 120gb and replaced with the m.2 1tb drive. start up fine. I then copied the system from the 2.5" ssd to the m.2. Everything went fine.
