My laptop says something happened and your PIN isn’t available. Click to set up PIN again. But when I do that it says something went wrong. I can’t log in with password or face either. I’ve tried to start it on safe mode but that isn’t working for me. I’m stuck at login page and don’t know what to do. Every call with Microsoft ends with an automated message saying go to this website and hanging up but the website isn’t helping. Any ideas? View the full article

My old phone is long gone but it keeps showing up in Phone Link on my laptop. (Dell running Win 11). My new phone is connected just fine. But when I select my old phone (S22), rather than give me an option to remove it, it keeps searching for it. Then it tells me it's offline. Yes it's offline. I no longer own it. Hi,I have an issue with windows 11. After a recent OS update, I had to choose between two systems: windows volume 3 and...windows volume 3. I randomly picked one, and since then I cannot start my laptop again. When pressing the start up button, the screen becomes slightly clearer, but then it suddenly switches off, and ends up in an uninterrupted on/off loop, switching every 10 seconds.I checked the BIOS, and I see "windows" as the (only) boot manager. My PC has recently started randomly restarting. I've made no hardware or software changes recently apart from updating windows. When it reboots, it goes into a boot error screen from the BIOS and gives me the option to either enter BIOS setting or "load optimised defaults and reboot". I've reset all defaults on the MOBO and error still occurs. I updated BIOS to latest release and error still occuring. Will often do it in waves - 3 or 4 times in a row then won't do it again for a few days. Initially it only occured when idle, I disabled C8 and C10 states however this didn't fix the issue. i have thinkpad p16 gen 2 with nvidia rtx 4000 ada external graphics adapter and the integrated graphics thats a part of i9-13980HX cpu .The problem is windows 11 is removing key features within nvidia control panel such as changing display resolution and things like icon and letter sizes .When trying to change these things in nvidia control panel it requires you to make changes on a PER APPLICATION basis instead of a PER DEVICE basis where it belongs !Why on earth would a person want microscopic icons and letters they cant even read in one program while everything is normal in another ? After getting this computer (windows 11) I figured out very quickly that I can't shut it down without it spending days refusing to turn on and either getting stuck on a partially lit up black screen or just saying please wait for hours. recently, about 2-3 days ago I installed win 11 24h2 using win 11 installation assistant. While I can notice slight improvement in explorer and task manager opening times, its has new issues. Random stuttering / screen freezing. Hi,When I navigate to Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard en disable the Print screen button, that no longer works. I know this because my snippet tool (Lightshot) stopped working. When I set Lightshot to use, for instance, BACKSPACE, it works. Hi as stupid as it may sound, i recently fell for the windows control r scam and I’ve only realized that it was suspicious when I completed the enter part. I quickly searched if that was a scam and yep.. it was. I read stuff about it and it started to make me anxious i restarted my laptop, and went to the windows security part. I’m the type of person to solve my own problems but after a bunch of googling trying to solve the problem on my own i decided to resort to this community. My hp victus gaming laptop using windows 11 suddenly started having problems with connecting to the internet. Flushing the dns cache and configuring to a public DNS with ncpa.cpl seems to fix the problem untill i reboot the device.
