I don’t understand one thing in Windows 11 24H2. I set the power plan in the Control Panel to High Performance, but when I was checking the Windows Settings, I saw that as long as High Performance mode is enabled, Power Saver mode is also turned on. I had to switch to Balanced mode to stop seeing this message. Shouldn’t it be the other way around? I think about it's a windows 11 24H2 bug or something like that.View the full article

Hi, I upgraded W11 V 23H2 to 24H2 after downloading the latter from the MS website. My PC started malfunctioning to the point where I needed to revert to V 23H2. I couldn't do it via Settings/uninstall update, so I made a bootable USB stick with V 23H2 from the MS site. During the installation process I had so many errors and problems that I ended up formating the HD where I wanted to install W11, just to start from scratch. I succeeded after swapping the HD from MBR to GTP. The crazy part is that immediately after installing V 23H2 Windows update implemeted V 24H2 - and it works fine. I was wView the full article

Hi, on one of the computers in the company in the user's home directory there is a folder ".astfiles" through which roaming profiles can not synchronize properly, as a result of which icons, for example, from the desktop after deletion return. In the registry, I tried to add an entry in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NTwindows NT\NCurrent Version\NWinlogon ExcludeProfileDirs ".astfiles;AppData/Local;xxx". AppData is correctly out of sync, and the problematic folder still appears in the event log as 1509. Hi,I have just purchased a new laptop (Acer Aspire 3) with Windows 11.I have gone through the set-up process including successfully associating my Live.com account with the new laptop. The new laptop then downloaded MS updates and restarted for first login.So far, so good. However, as I understand is usual with W11 on first login I have to request a mail with a verification code to my Live.com e-mail account. I have done this repeatedly and no mail arrives. Sometimes when I open up my computer, when I try to type either a comma or a period a little blue number appears by the cursor instead. It goes up to 9 when I type a periods, and down from 9 when I type a commas. It doesn't happen every time I log into my computer which is really strange but its very annoying because I cannot use the comma or period symbols when this happens. Hello,I’ve been having “driver power state failure” since I made/updated my pc in october, but Ive recently updated to windows 11 to see if it will fix it but it made my problem 100x worse. At this point I want to reset the whole thing because I think it has a lot of driver issues. When I go to reset this PC it gets stuck and doesn’t continue, when I try and go back to windows 10 it crashes settings, when I restart my PC it crashes and doesn’t restart so I have to force it to shut down. Ive read and followed a lot of posts and recommendation made to others with many of the same problems - though not allI´ve cleared the Windows cache, I´ve set up a new profile and same problem, I tried the repair via Windows Update and it tells me there is no current repair update version available, I tried a restore, that didnt help, I tried to reset (via the regular menu and the blue boot menu (i restarted and that menu popped up although I hadnt hit f12 and , but it wont download. Hello, I have an issue where when I play Fortnite on my PC it consistently freezes and bsod within the 2-5 minutes of playtime. My Windows system is up to date, and so are my graphics drivers.
