There is another open question for this problem by another poster whom I responded to, but that question only got a little over 200 views in over a month. So, I created this one with more detail in the title. This has happened before in 2022 and it was fixed by Microsoft after more than 9k views in a couple of days.The update will not install on Windows 11 24H2 in S Mode. I bought an Asus ROG Zephyrus G15, and an external screen that would be able to connect by using only 1 cable USB-C to USB-C. Windows will not start up when I turn on my computer. When I power on it takes my face recognition and then it goes to a blue screen that says “Automatic Repair / Your PC did not start correctly / Press “Restart” to restart your PC, which can sometimes fix the problem. I have got a new asus windows 11 laptop. I downloaded Thunderbird to send/receive my emails. I can send/receive my yahoo emails no problem. But I can't send Plusnet emails (I can receive them). I can send/receive emails on the Plusnet server. Please note I have not been a customer of Plusnet for 3 years but have always had access to my account on the server. The icons on my Windows 11 taskbar have become 'Corrupted' and some are just a few random pixels, others are black boxes or icons for other apps or upside down. I recently switched to Windows 11 and ever since my experience has been awful. Things are not opening when I click on them, and sometimes the application freezes but everything else works "normal" I can't even install GeForce Experience since I switched and it has to be something with my PC(non-specswise) since friends of mine haven't noticed any issues while using windows 11. Hello, When Windows 11 updates are performed, it's reverting changes I made in the local group policy editor. I have a network share that doesn't require a user/pass to connect to it. I changed the option in Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Network -> Lanman Workstation -> Enable insecure guest logons to enabled. This setting allows me to connect to the network share. When updates are performed, this setting is reverted back to disabled. This breaks applications that require access to this share. Ive had this problem for 2 months ever since i purchased this laptop. Its quite high end. It just black screens out of no where and i have to force shut it down to reset it. We have a couple of Windows 11 24H2 machines which do not synch to their roaming profile folder - the folder is empty. They used to synch but after apparently some update they stopped synching. Nothing is logged. Onedrive is also enabled and I suspect this is causing the issue (however it is also enabled on other Windows 11 machines and it works) we have a GPO that excludes the OneDrive folder from being synched together with several other folders.
