Same issue as a few weeks ago where I would get an error trying to update Windows 24H2, the only solution was an in-place upgrade. Now even if I do an in-place upgrade it won't update my windows at all and it's basically a waste of time. I've tried everything.Error: 0x800f0823 or even 0x800f081f.Trying to reinstall windows via the repair method of going to System > Recovery and then "Reinstall Now" gives me the "Repair Version of Windows not found, please try again later"I've heard that some people can help me on this forum via CBS logs or whatever. I would be greatView the full article

I've tried all the solutions I could find on the community page with no luck. This same pop up from User Account Control returns every time on my son's new laptop.. I've removed all restrictions that I can find. Removed him from our Microsoft family account, changed his age to 24 and turned off all internet restrictions, incase that's what it was. All the solutions just lead to another pop up with only NO as an option. So far they are from Overwolf, Steam, User Account Control Settings, and Advanced User Accounts Control Panel.. Please help. Dear Community!I am running a laptop with Win11 installed and am experiencing (in that order) massive lag, crashing of the Task manager, a BSOD with always the same error message (DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION) after which the laptop restarts.I've experienced this consistenly in the following situations:- Playing any 3D game- Using my Nvidia graphics card for said gameI did a bit of googling to narrow down the cause of this, hence I tried around and found out that, whenever I use my NVIDIA graphics card for that game, the BSOD occurs after ca. 5 minutes.I do not have that issue when specifically usinView the full article

So basically what i wanted to do was to manually backup some data from my old s22 ultra to my computer using an usb cable, and i've done it multiple times before, even with other phones, but it looks like this option is now broken. When i plug my cell phone to my computer, it recognizes the phone and even shows it at the dispositives tab in explorer, and when i click on it, it even shows the "internal storage folder", and this is where the strange thing starts to happen. When i click on the internal storage (of my phone) folder in explorer, it just opens the documents tab in another window, and View the full article

It goes to a blue screen and says "your device ran into a problem and needs to restart..."Tried a number of devices and all the same. I've run the bluetooth troubleshooter and this does nothing.View the full article

Hi I'm trying to clear up any misconceptions around the legality of using Windows 11 as an Application server in small businesses. We have a print makeready solution that runs very well in Windows 11. It can allow one to three users to log into the application simultaneously to work on various activities. Connectivity to the application is achieved either through a web browser for non Windows PC's or a client application as an option on a Windows PC.From a functionality standpoint we have had up to five users logged in simultaneously and the PC hums along with no performance degradation so we View the full article

Hi Microsoft Community,I received an email from Microsoft account team and it appears legitimate. It includes a code and says to change the password on my account. I read everything I found and the email has all the right information so appears legitimate but I have had some bad luck so want to be extra safe.Microsoft gives some reasons for changing the password but since I changed it <> 2 years ago I'm just concerned and want to be certain that this is Microsoft and not some evil genius hacker. Why does Microsoft want me to change the password? Please tell me how I can learn and verifView the full article

Since the Windows 11 24H2 update (which also updated my audio driver to a Windows version), I am experiencing a loud popping sound through my PC speakers every time a notification sound plays. The "pop" precedes the notification sound and is always the same volume (loud!) regardless of the current audio volume setting. There are no other sound issues. I have run the audio troubleshooter and the "pop" does not occur when I play a test sound. It also does not occur when I use USB headphones (presumably because they use a different audio device). This did happen on my system with a previous updateView the full article

My laptop stops making noise after I pause the audio. The only way to get sound back is to restart the device but once i pause the output stops again. The sound icon is showing up but no sound coming out. Problem started randomly when I paused spotify and when i came back audio was broken.I have trouble shooted audio drives and searched for availble updates but no errors are found. I have tried to cheack the device manager and reinstall drivers but nothing works.Im on an alienware laptop that I bought only 2 months ago, no idea what the problem is.View the full article

During the process of logging into a website the system (Win11) asks if I want a Passkey to which I agree. The Pin prompt appears, I enter the Pin, the entry box disappears only to return to the Enter Pin box. Again, and again. The only option left is to close the tab and start over. How do I fix this behavior.I should note that this process worked well under Win10 and appeared after I upgraded to Win11.View the full article

My PC has been restarting on its own whenever I attempt to shut it down. About 10 minutes after staying on the shutting down screen a blue screen with the error "Driver Power State Failure" appears. It usually only happens after some use as if I shut it down as soon as I start it, it shuts down normally. View the full article

My PC has recently run into some CPU cooling problems. While I wait to take my PC anywhere for new thermal paste, I've been trying to do some software fixes. I try and "edit my power plan" to reduce the maximum processor rate (80%) and lowering the minimum (down to 5%) and it is no help whatsoever. Briefly, the plan will be equipped, but then give me an error whenever I restart my pc or turn it back on. It will say something along the lines of "no power plans are available" when I have an entire list of plans, it just refuses to use one.https://www.partitionwizard.com/partitionmanager/power-plView the full article

There are documents vanished in my Google Sheets.I am the only owner.I did not do any removals. They are not in my bin (My bin is programmed to keep items still for another 30 days before removing permanently)What I did, was removing big files in my Gmail (for creating more space). Can it be connected to this action ? If so, where can I retrace them ?Thank you.View the full article

What I did remove was large files in my Gmail, for creating extra space. Is it connected to this action ? How can I retrace these docs ?(P.S.
