I have been experiencing extremely slow download speeds on all of my windows PCs. I am getting between 0.50 and 0.06 megabits download, but for some reason my upload speeds are up to 660 megabits. This is true across all of my windows devices, on both windows 10 and 11. Chrome OS has normal speeds, and my android phone is also working normally. I’ve been having this problem for a while now, ever since I got a new laptop about a month ago. As the title suggests, it does not allow me to connect to my home wifi network, instead displaying “can’t connect to this network.” I’ve tried everything, from uninstalling and disabling the wifi device, to turning on random hardware address, to restarting my router, to even resetting my network back to factory settings. I have 3 accounts on my PC (Windows 11). We don't use passwords, PINs or any logins. If I log out or lock mp PC (Windows key + L) then I am prompted for PIN or create a PIN which I don't want. The only way to get into my account is shut down the PC and restart. How the hell do I turn this login crap off? Hi,I have been running a Windows 11 Pro VM for 12 months on my Apple Mac using VMWare Fusion. Yesterday the MAC or VMWare completed an update and when I logged back onto my Windows 11 VM it said the licence wasn't activated. This has happened once before about 6 months ago, that time I went to activation, said my hardware had changed, selected the VM and it reactivated with no issue. This time it will not reactivate, just fails and suggests I by a new licence! For over a month now I've been having BSOS crashes on my laptop, either when I'm working or just browsing the internet.Everytime I googled the error code and looked up a solution I'd try it and then shortly after BSOD would happen but this time with a different error code.I brought the laptop to a technician who said that the SSD I had with the laptop was the issue. I have wasted a week trying to perform an in-place upgrade from a Windows 10 install to Windows 11, have had multiple failures and have gotten absolutely no assistance on fixing this.It looks like I will be forced to try a clean install. My home PC randomly pauses while operating, resulting in a black screen. The operating system is Windows 11 Pro, since July 2024. I have a new motherboard, CPU, NVME drive, fans, ample power supply, and recently a new video card. The new hardware was done to upgrade to Windows 11. After the upgrade, the pauses began with the black screen, followed by various windows reappearing, while the desktop remains black. Reboot was required. Left mouse click disabled on the bottom right corner of the screen. The only thing I can left click on is the calendar app. Right click seems to work, swapping display or changing resolution will not help. currently on windows 11 - 26100.2894Also have issues with the window Focus feature and this may be related. to clarify x is set to a b is set to nothing and every thing else except the joy sticks is remapped incorrectly. first I tried using Xbox accessories but the app was not connecting to my controller ( I had deemed this to be that the app was outdated and the stuff of today no longer works with it now), then i realized that on my controller there was a reset button i have pressed it and held it for 3 seconds witch might not have been the actual time needed to reset the my controllers controls. so i'm stuck, how do i reset my contoler to it's original state, thank you in advance.View the full article
