There was two cumulative updates for Windows 11 from January 28, 2025:KB5050094 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5050094) (OS Build 26100.3037) and KB5050577 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 24H2.After installing this updates, the mouse cursor periodically (10-20 seconds) shows the loading process (rotating blue circle). I tried many ways to solve the problem, but none of them helped. What I have tried:Restarting the system;Disabling background processes and startup programs;Running chkdsk, scannow and DISMView the full article

It looks like some settings need to be set to make Lively work: 1. Press the Win + R keys to open Run, 2. Type SystemPropertiesPerformance.exe into Run, click on "OK" to open Performance Options. 3. Enable/Check "Animate controls and elements inside windows" (If already checked, then uncheck and check) & Apply. 4. Click "Apply" then press "OK" to close the window. i apply this solution many times and all the windows i have update but this issue don't solve.View the full article

Hello! So I have an HP Pavilion Desktop (TG01-2018) and the start menu is locked at this weird empty slate and it's so bad I can't take a screenshot of it because System resources are utilizing the start menu first... which took a clocked 15 minutes and 32 seconds to search up an app, then clocked again was 12 minutes and 58 seconds. The app I'm trying to search for is gxscc.exe and I know i can just go into the file manager and look for it (I have, that isnt my issue), my issue is that the start menu loads the outline of the start menu, takes 30 seconds to load (ehh not an issue really bc of View the full article

You lucky. While I also have the same problem, And I'm experiencing it right at this moment. I'd advise going with Linux. I had a simple question November 24th. Earlier am in the est. Struggling to make a connection with Microsoft support I was finally able to reach them. The agent asked if he could do some trouble shooting.. he opened a bunch of applications one of them chat GPT4all. Just covered my whole screen and the cursor was behind When I closed it there was a pop-up dialog that said 700 Microsoft system files have been successfully deleted. The computer literally went bonkers. We got dView the full article

I honestly don't know what else to do so I came here. Since last month, my computer has been experiencing visual glitches. Several parts of my screen would stay the same, while the rest of the screen changes normally. This usually only happens on tabs, such as Google Chrome or a game like Roblox. Moving the tab or making any large change to the screen would fix the issue temporarily, only for it to randomly happen again. As a result of this issue, though I hardly doubted this was the cause of my issue, I bought new RAM and storage. This did not work. I even tried updating my BIOS. I cView the full article

Like in the title.- I turned off everything related to Web/Bing search in the search settings- I stopped all search-related processes- After opening search bar again, all WebView processes are launched anywayThis seems like a huge RAM waste (100 MBs) for an opt-in feature that I won't ever use anyway.(Names are in Polish but all of the subtasks of the Search feature are mswebview2 components).Thank u, MS pls fix soonKind RegardsView the full article

I have had this issue now twice with the same update: 2024-11 Kumulatives Update für .NET Framework 3.5 und 4.8.1 für Windows 11, version 23H2 für x64 (KB5045935). The second time I hade the anti-virus deinstalled. Same issue. I deinstalled the update twice and paused the update, but what now? All drivers are up to date (made sure by Lenovo support), I wrote this into a Q&A of Microsoft, but no answer yet. How can I make sure, this update is never installed again until the problem is solved by Microsoft? It's ruining my computer![moved from de-de]View the full article

Since the last Microsoft update on January 31, 2025 I can not get past my login screen. My PIN does not work and I get the 0xd0000225 code. I've done the recovery mode and I can't get my Recovery Key. For some reason my Microsoft drive account does not have my new computer registered which is strange to me since it has a drive name on the recovery screen. The PIN email it is trying to use is a dead and very old email account. I can't even restore back to original settings. This is VERY disappointing. I'm not sure why the recovery key is not getting to my microsoft account which I can log into.View the full article

Hello, On a 2 years old PC with windows 11 installed and full updated the message appeared when I tried to open mozilla browser to connect to the internet: Explorer.exe (the group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation). The message appeared only once. I always use mozilla browser to access the internet. I ran sfc /scannow and the response was:Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. I also ran a virus check with Bitdefender Total Security and the result was that the PC is virus-free.The CBS log file is uploaded to View the full article

Because really, I really need to have this fixed since I don't really know or understand what would keep giving me this message Also no, I do not see where the "requirements" text section is because it not even listed when I had downloaded tView the full article

I recently reinstalled Windows 11 while keeping my files on Drive D intact. However, after the reinstallation, I found that I could no longer access my files. Before reinstalling Windows, I had encrypted these files using Windows' built-in encryption. I suspect that the encryption keys or certificates were lost during the reinstallation process.I have already tried the following solutions, but none have worked:Logging in with my original Microsoft account.Changing file ownership and permissions.Using the cipher /d command in Command Prompt.I would appreciate any guidance on recovering my encryView the full article
