Backing up my system using Windows Backup is not working. i have figured out why, I am just not sure how to go about solving the issue. VSS operations are failing with 0x81000019, which from my research, means that VSS is not finding enough space for operations. I have 4Tb for my primary and a 1Tb+intel optane from my secondary. both drives still have A LOT of space still, so that is not the issue. I ran Acronis VSS doctor, and it found that VSS was trying to perform operations on my recovery partitions (setup by MSI for factory recovery) and running out of free space. I use a Windows 11 laptop and have Chrome as my main browser. I've had a couple BSODs now while using Chrome that don't seem otherwise related. They occur very rarely, just 2 in the past couple months and almost never before that, but seem to happen while I have a lot of tabs open or when YouTube seems to have trouble loading videos despite having a good internet connection. I was wondering if it could be a RAM issue, but I checked my resource use in Task Manager right before it crashed and I still had ~15 GB of my 32 left, and I just bought the RAM a few months ago and it's never caused issueView the full article

I just swapped from AM4 to AM5 and im trying to boot my pc up but it just loops into bios and when i try to set the boot options nothing comes up. Im using a 500gb nvme m.2 for windows. I tested the nvme with another computer and it booted and ran just fine. When in bios with my new am5 motherboard no boot option is showing up after enabling nvme support, sata mode, ahci and disabling csm support. Just 3 days ago I started getting the BSOD. It says Critical Process Died. I've gotten everything inside of my pc checked. I've tried command prompting. Everytime I try to system restore it says something stopped it from restoring. Startup Repair can't find anything. I tried uninstalling a quality update, nothing happened. Tried uninstalling a feature update, wouldn't let me. I've tried just restarting, nothing. I'm able to log in, and see my regular screen with all my apps. Hello all. This started about a month ago. Just over night, if I'm browsing with Edge, after about 20 minutes, the system tray and desktop no longer responsive as if it was just a photo. The browser still works but nothing else, cannot even turn the power off. I have to hit ctrl/alt/del and in about 5 seconds, I regain control. I don't have to do anything else but hit ctrl/alt/del to get it back, no reboot, no task manger, just hitting those keys brings it back for another 20 minutes. I have recently updated to Windows 24H2. My sharing between two computers stopped at that time and I have been unable to share between since. However, sharing between two USERS on the same computer works fine. I think the problem is associated with MS accounts. I seem to have created MS accounts for same user with same usernames but different computer names. One of the accounts shows one computer (I purposefully deleted the second one and tried to rejoin it to the account with different credentials, but alas, no joy). Hello, I was having some issues trying to play a game streaming through the xbox app so I was hitting all sorts of keys on my keyboard. Hi I recently helped a good friend build a PC, it has a 5700x3d a 7900gre and 2x16gb of 3600 megatrensfers per second RAM. The system has been running fine for the most part, but for some reason applications like discord and chrome just freeze randomly. The freeze only affects the upper half of the application and you can still use the applicationfrozen in general, but only the lower half reacts visually. After some research, my understanding is that touch input can only control the main display. The problem is that my new touchscreen monitor is not my main display. My main display is not a touchscreen monitor. Since Windows did away with Tablet PC settings, it seems that I can't use a second monitor as a touchscreen unless I make it my main monitor. My main monitor is 49" with 5120 x 1440 resolution. My touchscreen is a 7" monitor. You can see why I don't want to make that my main monitor. I've went to the microsoft site and download and installed the mediatool that created a new bootable usb stick and started to install windows. I'm trying to sell my old laptop and did a reset to delete all files/aps and reinstall Windows 11, however it then got stuck in a loop going back to the "Why did my PC restart" blue screen repeatedly. I checked some previous questions on this issue but their solution didn't work: I tried installing Windows 11 from a USB instead, and went into the Bios boot recovery menu and told it to use the USB, but after a bunch more stuff (a little different than the first time), it once again got stuck going through the "Why did my PC restart?" page loop.
