Hello, On my last update my admin login was removed and my current login had the admin rights removed. I do know that my computer has a company attached to it as i used it for work last year and now I can not remove them as I need admin rights. Is there anything I can aside from completely resetting my computer? I am almost to that point of knowing I have lost everything from the last 2 years, but being as this is partially a microsoft issue I am hoping there is some kind of work around?View the full article

Steam game didnt load due to minimum runtime. I noticed windows update gave me an error and asked me to reinstall windows or something similar through the windows update. That happened and now i have Windows 11, version 23H2 correctly installed. Steam error persisted so I looked online. Hi all, I've been getting DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION errors a lot recently since I've just upgraded my PC. It seems to happen when I'm running very GPU-intensive games with mods installed most of the time. Up until 2 days ago, I was able to preview all my svgs, psds, ais, and almost everything as thumbnails without PowerToys. I ran out of diskspace and it told me to clear the thumbnails. I thought for sure they'd magically return. But nope, here we are. I am destroyed. FACTS: I have tried all all all alllllll of the toggles and all all all allllll of the tips and tricks that absolutely do not work at alllll. Hi, I have a Lenovo Ideapad 5 15itl05 that was running windows 11. The SSD died a few weeks ago and I finally got around to trying to get it running again. I bought a compatible NVME PCIe gen 3 SSD and installed it. For some reason it does not show up in the bios or when I run the windows installation media from a USB drive. I tried swapping in another SSD from an identical ideapad and it boots up fine after entering the bitlocker key. This suggests to me that the hardware is ok. For the past couple of weeks, I've been experiencing a persistent issue with my PC. The problem begins when my audio crashes unexpectedly, accompanied by a loud, distorted noise of the last sound I was listening to. the system becomes extremely laggy forcing me to restart it, and in some cases, certain applications fail to load properly. Hi thereAs the title says, the Microsoft Store App has been deleted from my device, I believe due to a recent Windows 11 update. This particular update had other issues such as deactivating Windows entirely. Due to this I did roll back the update. I can't repair the app in "Advanced" options as it doesn't show up in the installed apps list. I have not tried to reset the device. I have done a full scan with Malwarebytes, and defender, and also have scanned full with MRT to see if it will show me an infected file. All clean. I also turned off the touch stuff as that isn't needed on my mini pc.. I think the issue started after drivers update and they are from the manufacturers website but anyway I uinstalled the device and reinstalled and even done a driver update and still it jitters... is it a windows 11 issue? I have a Windows 11 PC. I was running a local account, and I added my Outlook account to it. Then I got a Windows update, and the next time I started my PC, I found that something unknown to me had been activated, the bitlocker, and it asks me for a key that I do not have. I bought a windows 11 product key back in december 2023 for my new build. I then reinstalled windows 2 weeks ago and there were no hardware changes. The windows product key is attached to my microsoft account. When reinstalling windows I chose the option not to enter my product key. Windows 11 is suddenly seeing my internal 2Tb hard drive as an empty CD Drive. I have tried using different cables and I even checked the drive using an adapter I have to use internal drives externally and it works perfectly fine when not hooked up internally. The Disk does not show up in Disk Management but it does show up in File Explorer as an empty CD Drive. The only thing I haven't tried is rolling back to a previous installation of Windows but this happened today before my most recent update. I thought maybe updating it would help but of course not.
