I have a Micro PC that has Windows 11 Pro 22H2 that has reached end of life and like i've seen in another post, checking for updates doesn't allow it to download 24H2 and so i've run the installation assistant... at some point it gets to a screen that says "Windows 11 Failed to Install" and does not allow 24H2 to install, are there logs somewhere or some way to assist with this? I've checked that "Application Experience" is running. Hi community, When running the %TEMP% command, the folder shows 100 GB, which I want to remove. When using the "Disk Clean up," barely any load is shown. I do not think the app contemplates the temp folder in itself. Is it safe to go into the TEMP folder and Shift+Del all? Thank you View the full article

Heyo,I obtained my Azure Fundamentals Certification with another company on September 2nd of 2024. Since then I have moved to another company and I am unsure how to recover that certification. I signed up for the test with a personal email and have the emails with all the info for the test. Now being at my new position, I am trying to continue down the Azure Dev Ops path but need access to the prior cert to start the next one. New Asus laptop Windows 11. When casting using chromecast sound is heard from both the laptop and tv. My previous laptop another Asus with Windows 10 automatically muted sound at laptop. Sound and music is now unlistenable on new set up with tv on one side of room and laptop on the opposite side. The sound or music is also out of sync which compounds the problem. Hi, all. I recently bought a new personal laptop for my son and cannot log in. I’ve created a Microsoft account for him and given the appropriate parental consents, but all attempts at logging into the account on the new laptop have failed. I can’t advance past the initial “let’s set up your new computer” screen—when I enter login credentials, I receive a message saying, “Oops, something went wrong. I got a new PC, and the settings page is different on them than on my old one. (It's the Windows 11 Home Edition.) I've been trying to connect my drawing tablet to this new PC as a second display/monitor like I did with my old one, I've checked different threads, the cords, restarted my pc, all that even plugged it back into my old PC just to make sure it works, and I've come to the conclusion that drawing tablet is not the issue. I was attempting add a logo to a photo I was editing in Paint. The font is a unique font I obtained several years ago. It is the C:\windows\font folder. However it does not appear in the fonts available for Paint. When I opened the font folder there is a notice "ATTENTION: This page is being decoupled from Fonts Control Panel. I did a factory reset on my Dell Inspiron 16 7640 because I wanted a fresh restart and all my junk gone. After I did, the wireless drivers corrupted. Hey so this started happening recently and up until then i had 0 issues ever with my PC but all of a sudden now after gaming for a while it crashes. Its weird too cause i assumed it was my PSU but ive done extensive stress testing on that part and ive had no issues (for example i had everything running at full power to see if mayber the psu would give in since it couldnt handle it but it had no issue) But then out of nowhere when im gaming my pc randomly crashes and restarts. Is it okay to install an old Nvidia graphics driver? My Mum's laptop has been having an issue with the latest few graphic driver updates, so I went onto the manufacturer support page for the laptop in question and downloaded the OEM driver there. Unfortunately, as it was an Nvidia graphics driver OEM, the download and install driver was from ASUS and didn't include the Nvidia custom, clean install which is what I wanted to do. Hello,I just upgraded from w10 to w11. I just noticed that in w11 explorer doesn't properly update the last modified time/date when you modify some files. This issue only happens in some areas. I tried to upload a screen shot but the built in image uploader doesn't work. So I included links to the photos below. If you look at the first photo, look at the underlined times/dates. It shows the wrong date/time in the main area. The odd this is if I hit properties it displays the correct info in the properties window. Also the date modified is correct in other software. I have been having this problem where whenever I print a PDF and scale it to a smaller size, it shifts to the upper left instead of staying in the center. My company has multiple Sharepoint sections rather than a real CMS. I'd like to link a file from one group's folder to another group's.
