Not really. If you can point and click, you're all set. You will also

notice a question mark icon on the top panel which is the Help file. Not

only that but when you open Firefox for the first time, you will get

links to forums and other support web sites.

What difference what program it is? He said his program won't run on that

SHITTY Ubuntu so that makes Ubuntu worthless. As I said, Ubuntu is

worthless to most because that INFERIOR OS won't run the popular software

programs out there. Oops.

Ubuntu is good for geeks who have no social skills and have plenty of time

to learn cryptic line commands to waste their days away.

Ah but you only have to learn it once as opposed to learning a new

version every few years - and you can get another 'investment program'

that will.

Oops. Windows 7 won't run some fairly popular programs either - like ANY

Office version prior to 2003. OOPS!

MYOB.

It's a Windows program, dumb fuck, and, in WINE, it may very well run

which makes your advice worthless as usual.

The most popular programs "out there" are IM, email and surfing the web.

Ubuntu will do all of that and much more safely than Windows.

Never heard of cmd.exe? Never had to diagnose your Internet connection?

Do a chkdsk? That said, liar, I haven't had to use a command line since

2006 and I only used it then because I was getting help from a long time

Linux user who used them. Since then, not once have I opened a terminal

except to do a MD5SUM for the new version of Ubuntu.

So are you saying that Windows 7 should run Office 97? Maybe Wordstar?

Why would you expect Microsoft to continue to support and fix programs that

are over 10 years old? What an IDIOT you are.

Neither Office XP nor Office 2000 are over ten years old. Neither will

work in Windows 7. You constantly bitch about having to "give up"

expensive programs to use Ubuntu but have no problem with people having

to buy a new version of Office along with Windows. That makes you a

fucking hypocrite. BTW, I can run Office *anything* in WINE.

Your comprehension skills are as bad as anyone I've seen.

There are still MANY MANY thousands of copies of Office 2002, and 2000 in

daily use.

YOU'RE the idiot.

You didn't post very man reasons. Actually, you didn't post any reasons.

So you are full of shit as usual.

Office 2000 and 2002 work on Windows 7. It's just the updates that

don't apply but that's because the support has finished.

Passwords are not remembered in Outlook. You call that 'working'? The

fact that support has finished is a very good reason to run it in WINE.

Not well. Outlook for example won't save passwords or usernames. other

random behaviour is also present and cannot be fixed...
