The following isn't important? Please explain how you use Windows and

don't need to ever:

Email anyone

IM anyone

Surf the Net

Type a document

Play a song

Watch a film

And a long fucking list of etceteras.

Do you even think before you post?

Never said those things are not important. Overall, you can't really do

important work with Ubuntu. Look at 90% of the businesses out there. They

want to be productive. They don't use Open Sores Office. They use

Microsoft Office. Why? So they can get their work done.

Everyone knows that Ubuntu was written by geeks for geeks who can't get laid

and have no social skills. That fits you to a T.

Not the reason.

Everyone knows this is a lie but that won't stop you from posting it

over and over again.

That fits you to a T.

I am not a geek and I get laid regularly. More lies, what a surprise.

I think that it has landed already.

After downloading some more updates today, my beta copy has lost it's

development emblem and now shows the ubuntu logo and the words 10.04 LTS on

the login screen.

Don't tell Alias, it will destroy his sense of breathless

You really need a course in reading comprehension. The discussion was

about the eminent release of the latest Ubuntu offering. Nothing to do

with you.

What do you expect from Alias? He has no reasoning abilities. He uses

Ubuntu!

Ah, so it is.

> How do you like it so far?

Looks good so far. It hasn't had a dispute with my ATI Radeon card this

time. Nothing broken in the apps that I use. Have added Gimp and KMail.

I normally use Fedora, but I'm looking for something with longer term

support.

Just to balance thing up , I should add that I was sufficiently impressed

with Windows 7 that I purchased a copy to run on one of my other machines,

and that I also run Vista and XP.

It is interesting to note that the "Miller Test" which is the United

States Supreme Court's for determining whether something is labeled

obscene, includes three judgments, one of which is whether the subject

matter, taken as a whole, lacks serious literary, artistic, political,

and scientific value

On that basis alias is 30 percent of the way to being an obscene

subject.
