It's funny how I upgraded to Windows 11 and then all of a sudden I got dead pixels on the entire bottom half where my toolbar should be and now I can't even move the toolba so I can see it. This looks fishy.While this prompt was open I could not click anywhere outside this prompt, but the keyboard was still working (e.g. windows key).Clicking on any of these buttons did nothing. When narrator is turned on and follow mouse is selected, when I type words, the word I am typing goes before the word previously typed. So if I wanted to type “my name is Bill” it now says ‘Bill is name my”. If I deselect the mouse follow it is fine, but now it reads the entire sentence, not just the last word I typed. Which as you can imagine is a tad annoying and adds a significant amount of time to typing each sentence. Was not this way a month ago. Recently, my computer has been blue screening while I'm editing in Davinci Resolve & Premiere Pro after I add a few effects it just restarts my computer. I think this has happened before but since I never really pushed it so I didn't notice until now. It has never blue screened while gaming or during intensive blender use. with my year old HP desktop, I started having Audio issues of "skipping" every 3-4 seconds, even when trying to record it is it the same . This seems to have happened after an auto update in Dec. After the recent windows update, my Bluetooth "Quick Settings" icon has been replaced with a "Studio effects" icon, making it harder to easily toggle Bluetooth. But that's not all! I recently updated Windows 11 to 24H2 and then continued playing the same video game, but now I have an issue: the frame rate drops to 1 (almost frozen) for 3 to 5 seconds randomly during the game. I started monitoring and found some spikes in the WMI process exactly when the frame rate drop occurs. A little internet research (perfmon and Process Explorer) and I got some details and a workaround. Restarting the WMI service (net stop winmgmt) kills the problematic WMI thread and the game glitches disappear (until reboot). I'm currently in Hong Kong, so my region is set to Hong Kong, and I have my regional format set in English (Hong Kong) as well. But as you all may already know, Hong Kong speaks Chinese. Whenever I boot up my computer I check my C Drive almost immediately because this has been a reoccurring problem with my computer. So, When I boot it up and check my C Drive in my files it says I have 15.5 GB free in that drive and after a few minutes it goes back up to around 43ish GB. I tried to optimize the drive and clean it but it says there is nothing wrong with it.
