So I built a desktop PC about a year ago (from a former tech professional coworker's recommendations), bought Windows 11 Home USB from Best Buy, installed, everything worked great. About 4 months in, suddenly the product key was invalid and I got stuck with the "Activate Windows". I contacted Microsoft support and a lady helped me troubleshoot for a week straight. Super nice, super helpful. We tried redownloading, she pulled product keys from some database she had (idk it was early 2024, memory is a little fuzzy on that bit), nothing worked. Hello,I have a problem with the update to 24H2. I live in a country where the internet speed is very slow, and I am currently trying to update, but due to the slow internet, I cannot complete the update in one session. Therefore, I have to update in batches. The issue is that when I turn off my device, the download progress resets to zero. I would like a way to either save the progress or a link to download the update so that I can download it using the internet browser and pause it and continue when I want. Hello,I built a new Windows 11 Pro machine in November. After a few days it was having BSOD's almost every day. After much effort to find the issue I decided to start fresh and rebuilt from scratch. This time, I only added a few programs at a time and then rebooted and looked for any new errors. While it did BSOD a few times, always during the shutdown phase of a reboot, the log did not show any obvious problems. I finally finished a few days ago and now the BSOD's have started again. Ik had een programma geïnstalleerd, die vereiste dat ik opnieuw op moest starten. Dat deed ik, daarna kwam ik in het blauwe bitlocker scherm. Ik heb daar meerdere dingen geprobeerd. Ik heb de herstel sleutel ingevoerd, maar daarna bij het opstarten sta ik vast op het zwarte scherm met het dell logo ( max 15 min gewacht ). Ook heb ik geprobeerd de laptop te resetten. Als zowel alleen instellen. Dan geeft hij aan dat er is mis is, maar ook naar fabrieksinstellingen. Hij loopt dan vast op het opslaan van mijn bestanden. Hi there,Since support for Windows 10 ends in October 2025, I finally decided to upgrade from windows 10 to 11.Since doing so, my second screen (LG smart TV) has some stuttering during video playback.I've used VLC and the internal Windows player to play different video files, and they all have moments of stuttering. It's like the fps drops a couple of frames. With the most recent Windows 11 updates for 2025-01-20 and 2025-02-22. My computer has encountered issues with buffering video both online and offline. I've not been able to find anywhere this has been talked about. My only resolution has been to restore the previous Windows 11 version to 2024-12-15. Split from this thread. You have OEM-COA-NSLP license. This type of license is for builders who don't have capability like big OEM companies (Dell, HP, etc) to embed OEM license to motherboard. So it works like a retail license, but builders must put the sticker on the device that it came with. Look for this sticker on the device somewhere. Typically at the back of the pc tower. When you find it, you will see the license key on it. Then go to Settings > System > Activation > Change product key, key in the license key and it should do the trick.Hello.
