I am trying to set up a background slideshow of photos on my PC. When I load the folders I created with all the photos, it shows that the folder is empty. When browsing the same folder directly from File Explorer or my desktop, all of the photos are there. I can open the photos as normal so they are not corrupted or in an incorrect file format. All are in jpg format.System is up to date, and I was able to have this slideshow running up until I removed all of the OneDrive stuff from my PC (after transferring it all from the cloud).Thanks in advance.View the full article

so this problem has been happening for years. I’ve reset my pc a couple of times, nothing. Even in safe mode it still crashes. Loading a game will prevent it from crashing for abit longer, but it will still crash. Different windows errors keep coming up, so i’m not sure if my motherboard is the problem. Hi, I set up face recognition on Windows 11 on my Lenovo Yoga Slim Pro Ultra 7. It was annoying because every time I sit on my desk, even though I didn't want to use my laptop, it turned on. So I removed face recognition. But it still turns on every time I sit on my desk or even after I put it to sleep mode while sitting on my desk, it wakes up and shows me the sign-in options on lock screen (even though I turned off the camera manually). I don't see the face recognition feature set up, but it still works nonstop. Very annoying. I just want to be able to sit on my desk without laptop waking upView the full article

Hi all,I've had a new Lenovo Legion Slim 5 16AHP9 laptop for 3 months. I have a hub with 2 HDMI ports, 1 Ethernet port and 3 USB ports, 1 of which is USB-C.When I connect my hub via one of the 2 USB-C ports on my computer, the Ethernet and USB ports are detected and work correctly, except for the HDMI ports. The HDMI ports worked when the computer was received.When I try to connect an SSD via these USB-C ports, it is not detected, whereas the SSD is detected from the other USB ports or if it is connected to one of the Hub's USB ports.Why is this? I had windows 10 Pro retail version with digital license that was upgraded to windows 11 Pro version using a free upgrade. Running the "slmgr /dlv" command still shows that it is a retail version but only a partial windows key is displayed. Can I transfer this windows 11 Pro to a new machine or it is no longer possible since it was free-upgraded from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro? For school I am trying to set my default browser to Chrome. Every time I change it the browser immediately flips back to Edge. I can literally close out of default apps, reopen it, and Edge is default again. This is causing me some issues with some of my courseware. I used to love the MSN Weather app. One of its former attributes was its eye pleasing aesthetic. Now it is an ugly confusing mess, and it seems to get worse with every update. Worst of all one of the weather details I always like to check is now missing. They provide all this weird extraneous detail but leave out the basic sunrise/sunset.I have version 4.54.63007. Hi so recently my pc has been having lots of unknown crashed on windows 11. I have been getting Blue screen a lot saying about a file in winload.efi. It then fianlly let me be able to get on pc to be able to run the sfc command. I’m trying to delete the user file from my old profile, which is a hefty file. When I deleted it through user profile I think I did it wrong as it kept the file, so now there’s a file still there.Now on “User profiles” it says “Account Unknown” every time I try to delete it, the tab stop responding. When I turn it on, it will not activate face unlock and asks for pin. It says pin isn't available (code:0xd0000225). If I set up pin it does the same thing again. Third attempt it promos you to send a code to your email to reset. I've been trying for 7 days it will not send me the code. Hi, recently i updated all of my drivers on pc (gpu and whatever was in msi center) which caused my computer to become unusable. First after installing drivers and rebooting pc, i noticed something, i dont exactly remeber what but i believe it was my monitor that was connected to gpu to not display(other one connected to motherboard was fine). When I woke up today I could no longer connect to my home wifi. I am very sure that it is a problem with my NIC card. My NIC card is the realtek rtl8192ee wireless lan and has many websites complaining about it. My home network does not appear when I try and connect to it but is in known networks. When i troubleshoot it says"the wifi network adaptor is not responding". Dear all,Since several years I have struggled with the VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE BSOD. I have reinstalled windows 11 completely twice due to repair issues and even got a new SSD. My screenshots will not size correctly for my screen. The bottom "tray" with the controls that let me zoom in and out or resize the shot are just below the edge of my screen. I can't access them, and I can't grab the edge of the image to change it; it is maddening.
