I cannot shut down my computer. It seems to go to sleep, but it never shuts down for some reason. I click on the windows button, then on the power button and click on shut down but nothing happens. What is going on? How do I correct this?View the full article

Hello, At some point in the last few month I started encountering an error on my two Win 11 VMs running under VirtualBox (fully updated). My symptoms appear while I'm in Explorer, When I click on any folder or file Explorer hangs. Eventually it clears. But if I click again it hangs. I deactivated Windows 10 on my old PC, then, using a USB key that already had Windows 10 on it, installed it on my new computer. I activated it using the same license but unfortunately that version of Windows 10 was too old and even when updated I found out it installed with the wrong BIOS mode (legacy), blocking me from upgrading to Windows 11 . Using my old PC, I wiped the USB key and downloaded the latest version of Windows 10 to then reinstall it on the new PC, which was then able to upgrade to Windows 11. Last week my Lenovo did a Windows update and it triggered the bitlocker... Had some it friends look at it and the hard drive was toast... We replaced the hard drive and reloaded windows... Tonight it updated again and once again triggered bitlocker.... Why is it doing this? Fortunately it reloaded windows but this is ridiculous. Is there a way you avoid this?View the full article

Hello I've been having an issue with my PC where it randomly restarts with no obvious causes. I updated my bios, disabled automatic restarts, and did a bunch of other test to try and isolate the issues with no results. Hi, I'm using the Insider Program of Win 11 and keep having the blue screen like 3 or 4 times by now and want to switch from Insider Program back to the normal channels. Is there any ways that I can switch from insider program to the normal channels of win 11 without resetting all of my data like the individual files and the installed apps? I have opened 2 cases about being double charged for a Windows 11 license, which were both closed without a solution. I need help with a refund for 1 of the charges because I only purchased 1 license but it double charged me. Hello,I've built my pc over a month now and I only had a HDD with windows 11 on it, I decided to get an SSD for faster performance as windows was stuttering in my HDD.
