I'm sick of turning on my laptop and having onedrive constantly trying to backup all 9000+ of my photos on my desktop. I have to constantly turn it off every single damn time I turn my laptop on. Then after it backs up whatever it does I have to delete them then recover them to get the photos back onto my desktop. I'm sick of it! I'll try to be brief, I recently got the sys internals suite and have been looking but not touching. Understand that this is a powerful set of tools was not looking to screw anything up. I have a laptop and a monitor, they are the same resolution but one is 32 inches and the other one is 15 inches. When I plug the monitor in and extend my display from the laptop, then they don't align because of the size difference. My idea is that you can go into settings, click on a display and type in how many inches big the display is instead of messing with the resolution, which is impractical. In the old DOS days, (yeah, I know, ancient), one could setup various autoexec.bat and config files which could be selected upon boot, depending on what you wanted to accomplish, i.e. games, cad.....etc.With todays Windows having so much going on in the background, are there any apps that will allow one to choose a selection that would automatically turn off preselected services and apps? On my main Windows 11 PC, most of my apps' Jump Lists of documents are correct in both Taskbar and Start Menu (so glad they finally added Jump Lists back for apps pinned to Start). However, there is one where the Jump List on the Taskbar doesn't change to reflect what I've opened recently (it's one of the Corel graphics apps, other Corel apps' Jump Lists are working fine, and this one's also worked fine until recently).
