My Surface pro 8 was activated and working for few years. All of a sudden it says Activate Windows. I've tried everything to activate it and followed all the instructions its not reactivating. I havent done or changed anything. The Computer came activated with Windows 11 when it was purchased. Hello-I left my computer on for a while, then came back to the usual pre-login screen; a blue background with a very large font time-of-day in the center and a login button beneath it.On this screen 'Notifications' displays the message 'statement is ready' from a financial institution. I prefer one form of notification only -email- and was concerned that I was seeing this on the pre-login screen, but that it also identified the institution by name. I was having trouble with a program (Omnissa Horizon Client, not relevant to this post) when I noticed that Windows Event viewer had logged continuous LiveKernelEvent errors ever since I first booted up the PC. App show Washington, DC as home location. Have tried many suggestions from the community and nothing works, In addition to not being able to change the home location, I cannot get a forecast for the city that I type into the search bar. The forecast stays on Washington. This should not be a difficulty problem but when iIfollow most directions I get to a point and the option I am told to select does not appear. I downloaded a mod for Minecraft and now my computer is running so bad, I used to get 100-160fps on rust now it’s at only 60-50. Most games that I play constantly screen tear or freeze up to 10 seconds or just completely freeze and I am forced to power off my computer. Hello, for a few days now I've had this issue where whenever my microphone is in use, my audio quality becomes terrible and a lot louder for some reason, and using the volume controls to increase/decrease output volume just doesn't work. I am trying to help my mrs log in to her 365 on her laptop here is the issue: Have to log in to get access to word/excel etc. Login requires PC PIN, which we do not know and the email connected to the windows user is deleted and cannot be recovered according to the form you fill out. My GPU is a RTX 3060 so games should not be a problem, beisdes the games were all working perfectly before the update. I have tried a lot of solutions already, none have worked:sfc scannow in the powershell.Reset microsoft store.reinstalled all Microsoft apps from powershellreinstalled windows from an .iso (while retaining apps and files)I think my only other solutions is to do a fresh install of windows, but I'd really prefer not to. I've been having a problem for the last 4+weeks whereby once W11 boots up I have an issue with browsers and various apps etc loading slower than normal in computer time. This problem seems to have coincided with the installation of 24H2. At one time I thought the issue was being caused by internet(FIOS) issues. I don't believe that is the case. I ran all the available diagnostics e.g. DSIM, and scannow and both reported no errors. FIOS said everything was working on their end-maybe so. The jury is still out on that. For some reason I cannot use the Windows 11 HDR calibration app anymore as it crashes right at the end of the process (after pressing next on the saturation slider screen). As soon as I click next, it crashes.Furthermore, if I go into display settings and try to select a colour profile for the monitor (AW3225QF), the settings app crashes too. It does not appear to find/see any profiles to begin with, but searching for it crashes the app as mentioned.
