you just keep modifying and BREAKING widgets experience all the time, just v recently widgets board changed into huge half screen box but main widgets got minimized to smallest size possible size. THIS UX IS REIDICOLUOUS you keep breaking widgets experince all the time mess things up instead of just providing simple 2 row widget board with main widgets like outlook calendar and to-do that you can resize. Issue Summary:My Electron app (version 9.4.4) works fine on Windows 10 and upgraded Windows 11 systems but fails to launch on fresh Windows 11 installations (OOTB). The app starts, logs some data, but then stops after a few seconds with a black screen and no UI. There are no errors in the Windows Event Viewer, app console, or when running in CLI mode with --enable-logging.Interestingly, a basic Electron 9.4.4 app works fine on fresh Windows 11, suggesting the issue is specific to your app.Key Findings:✅ App works on Windows 10 and upgraded Windows 11 systems.❌ App fails on fresh Windows 11 insView the full article

I am experiencing a persistent issue with external monitors on multiple Windows 11 devices. Every time my PC locks and enters sleep mode, upon logging back in, one of my external monitors (or the only external monitor) switches to a lower resolution and cannot be changed back via display settings. The only workaround is to physically disconnect and reconnect the monitor after waiting at least 3 seconds. This issue occurs consistently across two different systems, eliminating hardware or driver-related causes:Dell Precision 7680Windows 11 Pro, Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631Intel 13850HX (No dediView the full article

I continuously get this message when trying to connect my M720 mouse. This is the only item that gives that error, even though it connects to other computers and devices just fine. I have "forgotten" the device, ran the Bluetooth troubleshooter, and I believe successfully uninstalled the entire Bluetooth module from control panel and reinstalled it. What else can I do to fix it?View the full article

MS asked for a security sign in and I opted for a pin sign in. I created a new pin and I was able to sign into my laptop 3 or 4 times. Then MS asked to install updates. I restarted and installed the updates, and when it came to the sign in screen, I could not enter anything, the keyboard was frozen. Now I have been locked out of access to my laptop? I think MS should fix this as the updates rendered my laptop inaccessible, not to mention the time wasted, and the mission of contacting Microsoft. Previously uninstalled Avast driver repair on this device. It could be a keyboard driver problem, buView the full article

Hey everyone,I haven’t been able to update Windows since last year, and I’m currently stuck on Windows 11 22H2 (KB5044285). The Windows Update page says my version has reached the end of service, but no new updates are installing automatically.I’ve never manually updated Windows before, and I’m paranoid about losing my files or resetting my PC if I attempt anything. I looked at the Windows Installation Assistant, but I wasn’t sure if it was just for upgrading from Windows 10 or repairing the current installation.I’d really appreciate some guidance on how to manually update to the latest versioView the full article

Win11 22H2, Wireless 802.1X authentication + WPA2 Enterprise, the device is powered on and completes the WLAN connection for the first time, and it will reconnect to the WLAN in about 15 seconds (during which the device is not manually operated). This phenomenon does not occur when using WPA2 PSK services in the same environment. For the described reconnection behavior, the device autonomously sends a deauthentication frame to disconnect and then reconnect. --How can I turn off data metering in Windows 11 for wi-fi Hotspot tethering to iPhone? -- Posted replies by Microsoft all give the same steps, go to Settings... I know all that. I have done all that, many times. I have deleted and reinstalled the "known network" entry for this iPhone. -- Some posts in MS support say metering is "On" by default. Though I have it toggled "OFF" for all known networks, the Settings header still identifies my Wi-Fi as "Wi-Fi / ... metered network" The Dell / Win11 connection to my Hotspot can be made, sometimes, but it disconnects spontaneously when no user iView the full article
