2 Days Ago i reinstalled windows 7. Today i made the system updates and a 0xc0000022 error appeared, so i could not boot on the desktop, because of the black screen problem. I tried start-up repair, it didn't work, so i made system restore. Now it boots on desktop, but my PC is always trying to load something. I know it, because the blue circle of the mouse is always trying to load something....What can i do? View the thread

Dear Sirs COMPUTER: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit I have a scanner Epson 2480. When I had my old printer, I could scan and print on a plain A4 size paper by using a program called Epson Smart Panel. The old printer was of a good quality and was working perfectly when I bought my new computer. Unfortunately I could not connect the old printer with my new printer. The old computer had SCART sockets but the new computer has USB sockets. My new printer is called Epson Stylus S22. Unfortunately Epson Smart Panel program does not work with my new printer. However I can print documents by using Epson Scan but the output is not of a normal style but of a photo size. How could I print a scanned document on A4 size plain paper in a normal style? I have a very peculiar problem with my mom's computer which she purchased from a major retailer and had Windows 7 pre-installed. It's a HP / Compaq Presario CQ57. Now if I was there when she purchased the computer I would have warned her to stay away from anything HP or Compaq but that's what she got. No wonder these companies are going defunct. I went into the system properties and the Windows is activated but every once in a while the computer says that the Windows is not genuine. I checked the computers Update history and it hasn't downloaded a single update since the day it was purchased. Whenever I try to use Windows Update it says that it must download the new updater but in the process of getting an error code of 8000FFFF which makes no sense at all. I've tried the Windows Fix it, didn't work but I think that since the computer thinks that the Windows isn't genuine that it's preventing it from downloading updates. When I click the link on the page when I get the warning that the windows isn't genuine it doesn't even give me a chance to verify the computers license. Is there a way to run a program to go thru this process manually. View this thread

Hello, It seems that a bug appear in the Swiss French Keyboard layout in Windows 8. The Decimal Symbol is defined as the coma and the Swiss Standard is the Point. I tried to English and French version of Windows 8 and it's the same. It's Possible to correct it manually by going to &quotControl Panel&quot then &quotRegion&quot then &quotAdditional Settings&quot but it's not normal, i think. Until now I had no problems with Windows Update (I am using Windows XP Professional). My last update ended in the following situation: The update process shows the successful installation of KB2742595, KB2742596, KB2736416, KB2736428, KB2737019, KB2737019, KB2729449, KB2604111, KB2604092, KB2604110, KB2656407, KB2604121. I started Windows Update one more time. Now, these updates are shown again "downloaded and ready for installation". I tried Microsoft Fix it center - no problems are reported. I repeated the installation of the updates 2 or 3 times. Windows Update allways shows the updates again "downloaded and ready for installation". View this thread

Windows 8 updated with KB2750149 on 1/29/13 and since that time Outlook 2003 is unable to send or receive emails. Set up check shows all connections and settings working, but download runs so slow that after 10 minutes it can't complete even one small email. Its not our internet because we have two other Windows 7 machines running the same programs with no problem. Any ideas? Should we uninstall that update? View this thread

Whenever Windows Update attempts to install these two updates I get the above error codes. I have attempted to run FixIt, and each time it reports that "One or more Windows Update compontents are configured incorrectly", but even though the components are "repaired", the updates do not install. MS Installer has been giving me installation errors ever since, whenever I attempt to run any Office applications. I would guess that they are both related to the same root cause. View this thread

I have a photo program. The program is missing services pack 3. I go down and load 7 it loads some times. It works for a while. This used to down load photos from camera. I can't the find the fix for this. "Fix it" doesn't work nor any other tool on the MS website. I've tried many suggestions, startinga nd stoping Update and removing files in Software Distribution folder, etc., etc. etc. I remember getting something a couple years ago when this happened and fixed it. Heyla and well met! For whatever reason, windows crashes and sends me to the blue screen while I'm watching Netflix. I used two different browsers: Maxthon and Internet Explorer. My video card driver is up to date, as of a couple of days ago. I updated flash and silverlight, but I still get the crash.
